Club Gimnasia Vilanova continues to demonstrate its excellent form in the first phase of the Catalan Cup, adding six more podium finishes in the women’s (WAG) and men’s (MAG) artistic gymnastics competitions.
Over the last two weekends, the Sant Jaume de Enveja Sports Pavilion hosted the events for the WAG Base 6-9 categories and various MAG levels.
In the Women’s Base 6 category, Adele Velo achieved 8th place in Vault, while Edith Sans finished 9th on Balance Beam. In the Men’s Base 6 category, Queralt Carmona reached the top of the podium with a 1st place in Vault. As for the Men’s Base 6 category, Elena Mazzeo narrowly missed the podium in the all-around competition with a 4th place finish and took 1st place on Uneven Bars, while Alba Almirall finished 11th on Floor Exercise.
